Three-day tickets for Beyond the Pale 2023 go on sale this Friday (9 December) at 9am at starting at €195. In addition to the music, there will be Cabaret, Comedy, Theatre, Art Installations, Wellness, Yoga and delicious food & drink with over 150 acts in total to be revealed in the coming months. One of the highlights of the weekend is sure to be yoga-rave with Jon Hopkins collaborator East Forest as well as various performances by Scottish writer Irvine Welsh, author of Trainspotting amongst countless other works who performed at last year's festival. Next year's festival will also feature the best acts Ireland has to offer, including critically acclaimed indie rock band Pillow Queens, the award-winning For Those I Love - the brainchild of Dublin producer and songwriter David Balfe - Irish festival favourites Le Boom, atmos-folk duo Saint Sister, Irish-born Berlin-based DJ Mano Le Tough and Afro-Irish singer Tolü Makay.įestival-goers can also look forward to wold-class audio/visual shows from Los Angeles’ Oneohtrix Point Never - a prominent co-producer on the Weeknd's Dawn FM - Northern Irish electronica and techno producer Max Cooper and Germany’s Christian Löffler, who is known for his intense, deep moving sound with melancholic undertones. Known for hits like Over And Over and Ready For The Floor, the synthpop outfit are still going strong, releasing their eighth album Freakout/Release this month.Īlongside Hot Chip, headlining the 2023 event will be Grammy-winning singer and jazz-trained bassist Thundercat, along with electronic pioneers Jon Hopkins and Leftfield – who will be playing their first Irish show in over five years.Īlso on the bill is legendary American soul singer Candi Station, who will be performing her last ever European tour. The family-friendly festival takes place in Glendalough Estate in the Wicklow Mountains with its sweeping valleys and forests, hosting performances across seven areas over the three days of the weekend. The weekend camping festival debuted this summer with tickets selling out as Four Tett, Bonobo and Orbital headlined the inaugural event. Following a successful first outing this summer, it has been confirmed that Beyond the Pale music & arts festival is set to return to the stunning surrounds of Glendalough Estate in June.
